The Classical At Home method has been tested by time and used to educate some of the most intellectually and socially advanced individuals down through the ages. The basic premise is that education be divided into three consecutive stages: the Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric Stages to be exact. The Grammar Stage (Elementary age) focuses on the grammar or basic facts of various subjects with the aim being exposure to a broad range of material. The Logic Stage (Middle school) takes this foundation of information and begins drawing correlations between facts, encouraging the child to analyze. The Rhetoric Stage (High School) is intent on equipping students to communicate ideas effectively.
